Maresca will be forced to be without several important players for the clash at Stamford Bridge. The Chelsea manager confirmed that Malo Gusto will miss the match against Everton after picking up an injury during last week's win over Fulham.
"Yes, Malo [Gusto] is injured, but it does not look like an important injury," Maresca told reporters on Friday.
"He's already running and doing things outside, but he won't be available for tomorrow. Hopefully he can be available for the next one."
Chelsea will also be without Marc Guiu and Aaron Anselmino as Maresca confirmed the pair are both unavailable with injuries. Wesley Fofana and Omari Kellyman are sidelined with long-term injuries. Mykhailo Mudryk also remains unavailable for the Blues.
For Everton, they will also have players unavailable for the clash at Stamford Bridge. Orel Mangala and Jesper Lindstrom are long-term absentees and will not feature again.
James Tarkowski is expected to miss the rest of the season for the Toffees with a hamstring injury he suffered last weekend. Dominic Calvert-Lewin will also not be available for Everton to face Chelsea, with the striker missing the last three months with a hamstring injury.
Everton will also be without striker Armando Broja, who is ineligible to face his parent club. Chelsea loaned Broja to the Toffees last summer for the season, with the striker yet to score during his time with the Merseyside outfit.
