The news has left supporters overjoyed as many celebrate his historic political comeback. And one TikTok influencer has taken to the site to share exactly why she thinks America is "lucky" to have Trump, 78, as their president.

Katie Signmond, who uses the handle @katiessigmond on the site, recently shared a video with her 7.2million followers revealing she was backing Trump.

She posted a video of herself lip syncing to Zach Bryan's song '28', which included the lyrics, "How lucky are we/ It's been a hell of a week, but you're all grown now."

Overlay text on the clip also read: "How lucky are we to have a man who's doing everything he can to protect our country when he has the money and success to never work again."

It's thought Trump's stance on the economy helped him win over many US votes, with many currently unhappy about high food and housing costs. One of his 20 core promises on his campaign website is to “end inflation and make America affordable again”.

He also says he has a raft of tax cuts planned and has proposed new 10-20% tariffs on most foreign goods.

Trump has also vowed to crack down on immigration wants the US to disentangle itself from worldwide conflicts.
