ITV Emmerdale confirms who's helping Tom King in Belle twist as real attacker revealed

Send Push

viewers finally found out who attacked Tom King on Monday, and which character has seemingly been helping him all along.

A character was revealed to have attacked him at his request, and he was the same person who vandalised his car or at least knew about it. A brick was thrown through the window recently, with Tom and his family blaming the Dingles.

When Tom was then apparently attacked with a branch from behind, leaving him bleeding and dazed, Sam Dingle came under suspicion. Sam has previously gone for Tom and vowed to make him pay, after discovering his abuse towards his sister Belle Dingle.

Tom coercively controlled and manipulated his wife Belle for months before turning violent. He also spied on her, 'killed her dog' and harassed her, leading to her mental health spiralling.

Belle attacked Tom with an axe recently after he tried to kill her, and now she faces prison unless she can find evidence to back up her abuse allegations. Belle admitted herself to a secure unit as she struggled to cope after months of abuse, knowing Tom could get away with everything.

But it seems he could have messed things up amid a sinister plan to have Belle sent down. He's trying to make himself seem the victim, framing Belle's family for the attack and the car vandalism.

But viewers now know who is to blame, and it could bring Tom's downfall. His solicitor admitted to Tom he attacked him, with this being their plan to make it seem like someone else.

Tom then hinted he or his solicitor were the ones who smashed up the car too, and they were also behind some hate messages sent to Tom to make him look the victim. Wanting sympathy, Tom set the whole thing up in the hope the police would back off.

But it seems Tom has found out something about his solicitor and is blackmailing him. He told Tom he might not be able to represent him anymore as things had gone too far, before adding: "You promised you wouldn’t say anything."

Tom responded that as long as his solicitor did as he said and helped him with his plan, and kept him out of prison, his mystery secret would go nowhere. Tom said: "We need a backup plan in case things get worse."

He was told it "needed to be legal" to which Tom sinisterly told him: "I don't really care I can't go prison, so we need do whatever it takes, legal or not." So what will Tom do next, and will his solicitor reveal all?
