charity is getting a makeover in a bid to try and make it more appealing to the younger 'generation'.
The charity, which started as , was founded by then-Prince Charles in 1976, and is one of the monarch greatest achievements. However in the event of his reign, the charity has finally become The King's Trust - and in an attempt to keep up with the times, the King wanted the rebrand to be 'relevant' for younger people.
After the title change was approved by the Privy Council, the new branding was then designed by an artist who was personally helped by the Trust and got his "big break" with a grant from the charity. He has even made the logo 'TikTok friendly'.

According to , artist James Sommerville OBE is one of the 1.3 million people who received help from the Trust. He is in charge of making the new logo, which will replace the original Prince of Wales's feathers which was an idea that came from Charles himself.
The new logo will be of a crown-like image, with figures representing a young person, with mentors on either side. "It places young people at the centre, just as I was placed," Somerville told The Telegraph. "It [also] needs to show up not just on a business card as in the old days, but also on TikTok."
Sommerville, who co-founded his first design agency ATTIK, with support from the trust hopes the new logo "refreshes the brand" and serves as a sign of "hope and togetherness" for the next generation, something he says the Trust did for him. The design will also include the tagline "Working for young people" and the King is reported to be 'delighted' with the branding that will now be seen for the first time on the Trust's website and social media accounts.
The Trust was set up by the King to help young people from the ages of 11 to 30 and aids them with getting jobs, education and training. According to , its reported the Trust was set up with Charles' Navy severance pay, and now one of its most notable beneficiaries is Idris Elba, use used a grant from the Trust to start his acting career.
It also operates outside of the UK as well, and has expanded to Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, Europe and the Middle East, as well as reaching out to Canada, US, New Zealand and .
