PRAGUE is fancied to give Dylan Cunha the biggest winner of his career in Britain by landing the Group 2 Al Basti Equiworld, Dubai Joel Stakes (3.35) at Newmarket today.
The South African, a Group 1 winner in his homeland, is going from strength to strength in Britain and has a promising type in Prague.
The Galileo colt, who was unraced for Aidan O’Brien, made a winning debut at Sandown Park in June and marked his first start at Group 3 level with a half-length second to Holloway Boy in the Superior Mile at Haydock Park 20 days ago.
That was the fifth outing of Prague’s life, and a step forward will put Danny Tudhope’s mount in the firing line.
The other Group 2 event on the card, the Al Basti Equiworld, Dubai Rockfel Stakes (3.00), should go to Sir Michael Stoute’s FORMAL , who has impressed in victories at Newbury and Leicester.
Formal’s rider Ryan Moore has strong claims of landing the Listed Al Basti Equiworld, Dubai British EBF Rosemary Stakes (1.50) aboard SIRONA , while Yorkshire Oaks fourth MISTRAL STAR has plenty going for her as she drops down from Group 1 company for the Group 3 Princess Royal Stakes (2.25).
