Strictly's Pete Wicks and Jowita Pryzstal are getting cosier than ever with one another - and it's set tongues wagging.

The pair lit the dancefloor alight with their sizzling chemistry in their paso doble to "Breathe" by electronic dance music legends The Prodigy. Pete, rocking an all-black leather ensemble, and Jowita racked up 17 points from the judges. Shirley Ballas, Strictly head judge, called the routine "repetitive", hushing the booing crowd.

At the same time, Anton Du Beke, fellow judge and ex-show professional, picked at Pete's timing, leading the one-time TOWIE celebrity to joke: "I've got no rhythm mate! ".

And the pair aren't doing anything to douse the rumour mill fire as they continue to enjoy training together ahead of the second live show.

During a visit to Strictly spin-off It Takes Two on Monday (September 23), the pair spilled the beans on their journey on the dance show and the growing rapport between them, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Pete shared: "I am absolutely loving it and I never thought I would be because I didn't think this was really my thing. I'm not a dancer. I don't think I have rhythm. But what I am loving is the whole learning experience and that the bit that is most exciting for me, in the rehearsal room with Jowita."

In a heartwarming on-air moment, he declared: "It's my favourite bit because I'm a bit geeky and I love to learn something that's really and utterly new to me, it makes me really happy. " He then gazed at Jowita, expressing: "And she makes me really happy every day," eliciting co-host Janette Manrara's warm reaction: "Aw, you guys. This is cute!"

"Post-show, Jowita shared a burst of behind-the-scenes photos to Instagram, showing the duo striking poses before goofing around in a few selfies. She captioned their social media debut with: "Our first It takes two aka 'Just the two of us' (by @p_wicks01). Thank you for having us."

The pair's undeniable rapport didn't go unnoticed by fans who were quick to swoon over their connection. One wrote: "I know I shouldn't say this, but you guys have major chemistry. " User @covlar noted: "This partnership is fit. Chemistry is [fire emoji] such potential already!"

Meanwhile, nother wittily remarked: "There couldn't be more chemistry if you chucked a Bunsen burner between them!" A third chimed in with: "I mean... Can't get enough of you two. " While another complimented: "Loving this partnership you look great together."
