Claims Democratic candidate with a voter have been debunked after the allegations went viral on social media.
The Vice President made the call while she was visiting the Democratic National Committee headquarters in Washington D.C. where volunteers were calling voters in a last-ditch attempt to get people out to cast their ballots. In the clip, shared on X/, Harris could be seen talking with a voter.
Speaking to the voter, Harris said: "I am well. Have you voted already? You did? Thank you." As her supporters cheered, there were people online who accused the Vice President of faking the call by noting the phone had the camera app open.
Many online then started to accuse her of staging the call. One user said: "It's so embarrassing if she were actually on call, you would see the call screen with the caller ID on the ."

A second said: "Is there anything real or authentic about this campaign?" While a third posted: "Not only is she fake, she's dumb. Showing the phone like that...what was she thinking?"
A brief clip of the video was shared to X/Twitter by the account @rawsalerts, which describes itself as a a "go-to source" for accurate news coverage, gained more than 2 million views since being posted.
But the claim was seemingly debunked online by a Trump supporter who explained why the phone call was not faked. X/Twitter account @jimjimmiejames said: "No. Kamala Harris didn't 'fake a phone call' just because you see a camera app.
"Try it, make a call, open camera, hold it to your cheek to remove it. You will see the screen activate/disactivate to prevent your cheek (like hers). iPhones only do this while you're on call.
"To my conservative 'friends' you can call me a 'cuck' and tell me to 'cope' etc. It doesn't bother me. I'm still voting Trump, but you're the problem.
"You're acting just like the radical left who away Democrats. All I'm asking is that you pause before pushing fake news or you become that which you sought to destroy."
The final push for votes come as both Harris and aim to reach the all-important 270 Electoral College votes to secure the White House. Commentators and polling experts have had Harris and Trump virtually neck-and-neck since the Vice President entered the campaign following Joe Biden's withdrawal from the race in the summer.
