BPSC LDC Notification 2025: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC), Patna, has released the official notification for recruitment to the posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC). Under this recruitment process, eligible and interested candidates can apply online from 8 July 2025 to 29 July 2025. To apply, candidates must fill out the form by visiting the official website of the commission, bpsc.bihar.gov.in. The target of this recruitment campaign is to fill 26 vacancies.

12th pass apply

Candidates applying for this recruitment must have passed the Intermediate (12th) examination in any stream from a recognized board. Along with this, candidates should know computer operations and have experience in typing Hindi and English.

The minimum age of the candidate has been fixed at 18 years, and the maximum age at 37 years. However, as per the rules of the Government of Bihar, reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC, Women, and Divyang candidates will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the rules.

Know how much the application fee will be charged.
The application fee for this recruitment varies according to the category. The fee has been fixed at Rs 600 for the candidates of General, OBC, and EWS categories, while SC, ST, and female candidates of Bihar will have to pay only Rs 150.

At the same time, the fee for Divyang (PH) category candidates is also Rs 150. Candidates can pay the application fee through online mode, in which options like debit card, credit card, internet banking, IMPS, cash card, or mobile wallet are available.

Selection Process
The selection process in this recruitment depends on the number of applications. If fewer than 40,000 applications are received, then the main examination will be taken directly. But if there are more than 40,000 applications, the examination will be conducted in two stages - preliminary and main examination. Both examinations will be objective and multiple-choice.

Preliminary Exam Pattern
The preliminary examination will have a single question paper in which a total of 150 questions will be asked. It will be divided into three parts: (a) General Studies - 50 questions, (b) General Science and Mathematics - 50 questions, (c) Mental Ability Test - 50 questions. This test will be for screening only, based on which candidates will be selected for the main examination.

Salary: Pay Scale
The candidates selected for the BPSC LDC post will be given a pay scale under Level-2 as per the Seventh Pay Commission, which will be between Rs 19,900 and Rs 63,200 per month. Apart from this, various allowances (such as dearness allowance, travel allowance, etc.) will also be provided as per rules.

First, go to the official website bpsc.bihar.gov.in.

Now go to the "Apply Online" section and do a new registration. Enter your mobile number and email ID.

Log in with the username and password received after registration.

Fill in all the information sought carefully.

Scan and upload a passport size photo, signature, 12th mark sheet, etc.

Pay the fee through debit/credit card, net banking, or mobile wallet.

After submitting the form, keep a printout of it with you.
