Madhuri Dixit took the internet by storm with her performance of the iconic song last night along with co-star Vidya Balan. As the diva was twirling on the stage, we could not help but admire her dreamy lehenga. The sage green lehenga was paired with a heavily embellished pink vest-style blouse which added a modern touch to the traditional look and a bright purple and pink velvet dupatta.

Madhuri accessorised the look with a dazzling diamond necklace which greatly completed the sweetheart neckline of the vest-style blouse and matching earrings. She was also seen wearing chunky bangles on one wrist and gold rings.

She completed her look with her signature blow-dried hair and minimal makeup featuring a semi-matte finish, shimmery eyeshadow, defined brows, rosy cheeks and a mauve lip shade.

While Madhuri often for a soft glam look, Shilpa Shetty turned the dial up for the celebratory event. The actress was also seen dancing her heart out to the sound of dhol as she welcomed Ganpati Bappa into her home, dressed in the stylish tissue skirt which was paired with the waistcoat featuring intricate dabka and salma sitara embroidery and the dual-toned dupatta.

While Madhuri had carried her dupatta, Shilpa had neatly tucked hers on her right shoulder like a saree pallu and beautifully showcased its bright purple and pink hues. She was also seen carrying a matching purple-toned potli bag.

For her accessories, Shilpa skipped the necklace and instead went with statement earrings and a matching nath. Se also wore a ton of bangles on one wrist in green, pink an purple colours to match her outfit.

She completed her festive look with a full glam makeup look featuring black smokey eyeshadow, dramatic eyeliner, mascara-coated lashes, flushed cheeks, a luminous highlighter, a pink lip shade and a matching dainty pink bindi. She too blow-dried her hair and let them cascade down her back like Madhuri.

Even though both the actresses wore the same outfit, they showed us how the draping of the dupatta and their choice of accessories gave them both a unique look.
