Netizens react to Alexa Bliss' WWE return

Alexa Bliss returned to WWE programming on the latest episode of SmackDown and teamed up with Zelina Vega to beat the team of Chelsea Green and Piper Niven. Post this, she had an interaction with Charlotte Flair. While her return created a buzz, most fans were not too impressed by the way she was used. 

Netizens are not happy about Alexa Bliss being paired with Zelina Vega

Alexa Bliss made a successful return to WWE programming and pinned Chelsea Green to secure a win in a tag team match. She was last seen at the Elimination Chamber event in March. Needless to say, her return created a buzz and netizens took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to express their views on her comeback. 

A user said that WWE had ‘no idea’ how to utilise the former World Champion’s talents.

Another one felt that the creative team would (predictably) turn her heel and then feud with Zelina Vega.

Netizens were also surprised by the decision to pair the more established Bliss with the relatively inexperienced Zelina Vega.

Exactly my thoughts. Happy she's back and hope it leads to wyatt sicks. But made zero sense to pair with Vega.

Another one hoped that her return would lead to a feud with Charlotte Flair. 

Alexa is from Ohio.. the show is in Ohio… they needed a way to reintroduce her to tv.

What’s next for Alexa Bliss?

Alexa Bliss was a participant in the Elimination Chamber match in March but failed to make much of an impact. The contest was eventually won by Bianca Belair. Tonight Alexa had a ‘chat’ with Charlotte after her match.  This came after  the veteran was humiliated by  the veteran was humiliated by the audience and Jade Cargill. These developments suggest that a feud between Alexa and ‘The Queen’ may be on the cards.
