Addressing the gathering, Nadda said, "Under the leadership of PM Modi, we are carrying forward the vision of a Swadeshi and self-reliant India. Just today, PM Modi said, whatever is made in India has the sweat of the people of India in it, and whatever has the essence of Indian soil in it, that is Swadeshi; we have to work for that.
He also said lakhs of workers had adopted Khadi during the freedom struggle. He urged everyone to use Khadi products from Gandhi Jayanti, which falls on October 2.

"I also request everyone to wear Khadi in their lives, definitely, buy clothing items made from it, and contribute to making the country strong. Contribute to making India self-reliant," Nadda said.
Nadda also stated that India's fighter jets, combat planes, and BrahMos, which are being discussed globally, have not been borrowed from anyone; instead, they are Indigenous and made in India.

"We should remember that our fighter jets, combat planes, and BrahMos, which is being discussed throughout the world, are not borrowed from anyone but are Swadeshi...," Nadda said.
Praising Modi's leadership, he said, "You must understand that we have got good leadership under PM Modi, in which the country has moved forward every moment. We have achieved it by having a vision."
Moreover, JP Nadda also talked about programmes running on the occasion of the PM's birthday, such as Sewa Pakhwada, 'Ek ped maa ke naam' and 'Swachh Bharat Mission'.
