Lohit Bhatia, President, Indian Staffing Federation said: “The Q1 FY25 report reflects that the flexi staffing industry has maintained a robust double-digit growth trend. Additionally, the general staffing segment has demonstrated strong performance with a notable 19.1% year-over-year growth. This significant rise in new job opportunities indicates a renewed momentum in the market, as hiring activity surged in Q1 2024-25, following a period of slower past quarters. The industry is witnessing higher employment demands across various sectors, reflecting a positive shift in market dynamics."

According to Manmeet Singh, Vice President, Indian Staffing Federation, "The IT staffing industry has experienced a positive turnaround. After a strong performance in Q2 2023-24, the industry faced some challenges in Q3 and Q4. However, we are seeing gradual growth in new demands, particularly within the GCC and few IT service companies in Q1 2025. This demand is primarily driven by digital adoption and ongoing government infrastructure projects, alongside the emergence of new industries. Within the IT sector, Global Capability Centers (GCCs) are leading the way in creating new employment opportunities."
