'The Buckingham Murders' to debut on OTT soon! When and where can you watch Kareena Kapoor's murder mystery?

Kareena Kapoor Khan’s film The Buckingham Murders has garnered favorable feedback from viewers. This mystery thriller, directed by Hansal Mehta, is set to premiere on an OTT platform soon, with Kareena herself announcing on social media that the movie will arrive on Netflix on November 8.

Initially released in theaters on September 13, 2024, The Buckingham Murders features a distinguished cast, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen. Directed by Hansal Mehta and penned by Aseem Arora, Kashyap Kapoor, and Raghav Raj Kakker, the film is produced by Mahana Films and TBM Films, with Balaji Telefilms as its presenting studio. Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor lead the production, marking Kareena Kapoor Khan’s debut as a producer.

Although the film caters to a niche audience with its distinctive genre and language style, The Buckingham Murders has established a strong box office presence. It opened with earnings of Rs 1.62 crore on its first day, followed by a notable 90% increase on the second day, collecting Rs 2.41 crore. With ongoing positive reviews, the film continued its momentum, reaching Rs 2.72 crore on the third day, bringing its total opening weekend revenue to Rs 6.75 crore.

About ‘Buckingham Murders’

Helmed by ace director Hansal Mehta, ‘The Buckingham Murders’ is a crime thriller co-produced by Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ekta, and Shobha Kapoor. The film made its global debut at the 67th BFI London Film Festival on October 14, 2023. Following this premiere, it saw a theatrical release on September 13, 2024.

Kareena steps into the shoes of Jasmeet Bhamra, a British Indian detective and a grieving mother who is put in charge of a case of a missing child. Aside from Kareena, the movie also features chef-turned-actor Ranveer Brar, Prabhleen Sandhu, Keith Allen, Prabhleen Sandhu, Sarah Jane Dias etc.
