The answer is - yes. Despite the terrorist attack, the Amarnath Yatra starting on July 3 will not be cancelled. Jammu and Kashmir Deputy CM Surinder Chaudhary said that devotees need not be afraid. According to sources, a new security plan will be implemented for the Amarnath Yatra starting from July 3.

There will be 24-hour surveillance, security arrangements will be increased.

The special central command center will monitor around the clock. The movement of tourists can be stopped in Pahalgam-Sonamarg. There will be tight security at all transit camps. Drones and other types of electronic surveillance will be further increased. The number of security personnel deployed in the yatra will also be increased from the usual 1.5 lakh security personnel.

A large number of devotees reach the Amarnath Yatra every year. This can affect not only the Amarnath Yatra but also the Vaishno Devi Dham Yatra. This attack on a large number of tourists is spreading panic among the people.

Information has come to light that about 8 to 10 terrorists were involved in this terror attack in Pahalgam, out of which three were local helpers and 5 to 7 terrorists were of Pakistani origin. They carried out this attack in the area with the help of local people. Information has also come to light that the terrorists were talking in the local language so that no one gets suspicious. 28 people have died in this attack. Many others have been injured.
