Singer Shreya Ghoshal has announced the cancellation of her Surat concert, part of the All Hearts Tour, in the wake of the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir. She was scheduled to perform on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Indoor Stadium.
Informing about the same, the singer shared a note on her IG stories, "In light of the recent and tragic events, the organisers along with the artist have collectively made the decision to cancel the upcoming show scheduled to happen in Surat this Saturday, April 26th. All ticket holders will receive full refunds, and the amount will be automatically refunded back to your original mode of payment. On Thursday, Arijit Singh also cancelled his upcoming concert in Chennai, scheduled for April 27 at the YMCA Ground, Nandanam, following the terror attack in Pahalgam. He shared a note from the organisers via the stories section of his Instagram handle, informing fans about the cancellation.
On April 22, a terror attack on the tourists claimed around 26 lives in the Baisaran Valley of the Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir region.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation, vowing that those responsible for the Pahalgam attack would face severe retribution. Further, addressing his first public gathering since the attack, he assured the Indian people that justice would be swift and uncompromising.
"Terrorism will not go unpunished. Every effort will be made to make sure that justice is done. The entire nation is one in this resolve. Everyone who believes in humanity is with us. I thank the people of various countries and their leaders who have stood with us," he added.
