Bengaluru Braces For Light To Moderate Rainfall, Predicts IMD; Check Out More Details

Bengaluru: Residents of Karnataka have been experiencing pleasant weather after light to moderate rainfall hit numerous districts, including Bandipur, Male Mahadeshwara Hills and Sirsi, among others, on Monday. The city woke up at 06:10 AM with a partly cloudy sky this morning, and it is likely to remain the same throughout the day.

The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to range from 23 degrees Celsius and 32 degrees Celsius, respectively. The city is expected to witness the sunset at 06:32 PM. The humidity is expected to be around 62 per cent. The wind is expected to blow from the West at 11 km/h.

Rainfall is predicted in these regions

The state has been experiencing rising temperatures over the past few weeks. From today, the city is expected to experience pleasant weather conditions as light to moderate rainfall is predicted. The weather department has predicted rainfall in these regions, including Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Bengaluru, Belagavi, Bagalkote, Dharwad, Koppal, Vijayapura, Chikkaballapur, Chikkamagluru, Mandya, Ramanagara, Hassan, Mysuru, and Tumakuru, among others.

KSNDMC shared a weather report.

The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) shared a weather report for the next five days on X and stated, "Thunderstorm, lightning is likely across the state today & tomorrow, scattered moderate rain over coastal, hilly and south interior districts. Moderate rain with scattered showers is likely over North Interior districts."

IMD predicted rainfall for April 11

Residents of the city will continue to experience cloudy skies on Friday, April 11, 2025. The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to be around 22 degrees Celsius and 32 degrees Celsius, respectively. Light to moderate rainfall is predicted for Friday, and the weather department has issued a yellow alert in coastal regions and South Interior Karnataka.
