Mumbai: On the occasion of the 1st of Muharram, an awareness programme was held at Handiwala Mosque, Silver Jubilee Estate, Mumbai, to celebrate the 1500th anniversary of Prophet Muhammad's birth in September in a grand and historic manner.
The meeting, held after Friday prayers, was led by religious and social leader Haji Muhammad Saeed Noori, president of Raza Academy.
Islamic scholar Maulana Ijaz Ahmad Kashmiri highlighted the significance of the Prophet's life, the purpose of celebrating his birth, and the reform of the Muslim community.
Kashmiri said, "The 1500th anniversary of Prophet Muhammad's birth is not just a celebration but a responsibility to spread his teachings and implement them in our lives."
