Veteran actress Mumtaz, who ruled Bollywood in the 1960s and '70s, recently opened up about her fitness routine, use of cosmetic fillers, and her unapologetic stance on plastic surgery. In one of her latest interviews, the yesteryear star revealed she is committed to fitness and self-care.
The 77 year-old actress opened up about the routine that helps her stay in shape even today. She told Bombay Times, "I eat at 7 pm, work out for over an hour, and follow a proper diet. If you don't work out, you won't look good."
'Not a crime to go under the knife'
She also spoke about beauty enhancements and her views on aging gracefully. "I have not done any facelifts, but sometimes when I am too tired, I do use fillers on my left and right side of the face. Usse chal jata hai ek do mahina. I do it once every four months. I don't feel the need of going under the knife, till now."

"If you feel there is anything less in you, then you must rectify it. It is not a crime to change it. Everybody wants to look good and beautiful. Even if I feel like I need something I need to work on, I will change it. Even if I have to do a plastic surgery, I will do it. If that makes me look beautiful, why not. Everybody should do it," she stated.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Mumtaz was last seen in the 1990 film Aandhiyan as Shakuntala. She quit acting after getting married and had revealed that her 'conservative' family thought the Hindi film industry was 'evil' because of which she did not do any films after getting hitched.
