Tensions Flared Over Minor Dispute
What began as a trivial issue between the wedding guests and decoration staff suddenly escalated, with both sides engaging in aggressive confrontation. Eyewitnesses reported that harsh words were exchanged before the scene descended into violence.
Matters worsened when more members from the decorators' group arrived at the venue upon hearing about the incident. Rather than de-escalating the situation, the reinforcements only fuelled the tension further, leading to the decorators and halwais being assaulted by several members of the baraat.
Local Police Intervened
As per the report, guests fled the scene after violence unfolded at the wedding. After being informed, the local police arrived to bring the situation under control. Authorities confirmed that the incident was recorded on CCTV and that the footage is currently being reviewed to identify those involved in the altercation.
However, no arrests have been made in the case yet.
