Iran Strike on Israel: Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has reacted after the US attack. Amid rising tensions after the US attacked three nuclear sites in Iran, he vowed to give a befitting reply to Israel. The reaction came after the attack on social media platform X from the official handle of the Iranian leader. It vowed to intensify attacks against Tel Aviv, but there was no mention of US attacks.
"The punishment is on. The Zionist enemy has committed a grave mistake, a grave crime. He must be punished and he is being punished. He is yet to be punished," the Ayatollah's official social media platform said. Khamenei's statement came after the US launched 'Operation Midnight Hammer' to target Iran's three nuclear sites (Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan).
What did Donald Trump say after the attack on Iran?
At the White House, US President Donald Trump said the decision to attack Iran was aimed at destroying Iran's nuclear enrichment capability and preventing the nuclear threat posed by the world's number one state sponsor of terrorism. Trump further warned, "Iran has to make peace now. If they don't do this, future attacks will be much bigger and much more dangerous."
