If your date of birth is wrong on the PF portal and you want to fix it, then according to the Rules of the EPFO, there should be a difference of less than 3 years between the correct date of birth and the already recorded date of birth. If there is a difference of more than this, then you have to put the related documents for it.

If there is a difference of more than 3 years in your date of birth, then for this you need an Aadhaar card, school or college certificate passport, driving license, and medical certificate, and one of the service records of the Central or State Government.

For this, you first have to go to the official website of EPFO unified portal-mm.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/
After this, you have to go to the section with 'managed' and click on 'Basic Details'

Then you will get the option to enter a new date of birth in front of the old birth date here.
In such a situation, you have to enter your new date of birth here according to DD MM YY, and then by clicking on the check box, you will get OTP on your registered mobile number, which will be filled in here.
Finally, after clicking on the update, your new date of birth is updated.
