The right way- The best way is to have a light breakfast one or two hours before doing yoga. There should be one hour between food and yoga so that there is no problem while practicing yoga asanas.
Phone and yoga
Due to a busy lifestyle, doing two things simultaneously has become common. Using a mobile phone while doing yoga, such as talking on the phone, texting in between, etc., is normal. But yoga is a meditation practice, in which the use of a phone distracts the attention of the yogi.
The right way- It is very important to silence the phone for at least one hour while doing yoga. Keep the mobile away from yourself even if it is for an hour so that mental stress can be reduced and the mind can be prevented from getting confused or distracted.
Not paying attention to breathing.
Yoga practice is based on breathing. It is very important to control the pattern of breathing while doing yoga. But many times yogis ignore the speed of breathing according to the yoga practice. They practice yoga by holding their breath or adopting the wrong way of breathing in and out.
The right way- During yoga, it is often advised to take slow and deep breaths. Many yoga postures have to be done according to the incoming and outgoing breath. It can be made easy with constant practice.
Yoga and water
Water should not be drunk in the middle of yoga or immediately after yoga practice. Drinking water after yoga causes phlegm in the throat.
The right way- Do not drink water at all during yoga practice. Drink water only after waiting for some time after doing yoga.
Yoga and bath
Doing yoga consumes a lot of energy from the body. The body temperature increases after yoga practice. In such a situation, one should not take a bath immediately after yoga practice, as it can cause diseases like colds and coughs.
The right way- Take a bath only after one hour of yoga practice. The bath should be taken only after the increased body temperature due to yoga activity becomes normal.
