Ahead of being axed from Martin's show, she praised the money expert for helping her with financial decisions.
She previously told Express.co.uk: "People see the glass of it all, but there's been times where I've been like, 'I don't know what to do'.
"You know, times are a little bit hard being a freelancer and I'm not afraid to say that."
Reflecting on the advice Martin has given her, she added: "He'll be like, 'do this, do that', he's really helped me think about money.
"He's always like, 'right what have you got next? You need to be a bit more pushy, you need to do this'."
Having recently admitted that she didn't feel wealthy and was in the middle of a house renovation, it's no wonder Angellica was keen to sign up to , for a reported £80,000 fee.
She told the Sunday Times: "I look at ways to save [and] whether there's a cheaper option. I don't feel wealthy but I know I'm fortunate, and I have more than I ever thought I'd have."
The presenter said yes to appearing on the reality programme, after she was replaced by Jeanette Kwaky on The Martin Lewis Show in 2023.
A source previously told The that the change-up presented a "conflict of interest", and claimed producers were unaware about her other consumer-based show.
“The Martin Lewis Money Show Live production team did not become aware that Angelica's new show would be called Shop Smart, Save Money until that programme was announced to the media in late September, with filming for it involving Angellica having already started prior to that," they claimed.

"An amicable discussion was held with her regarding the situation."
ITV also released a statement at the time confirming that she will not be returning to the show, but claimed their relationship "remains amicable".
Angellica has not addressed her exit since leaving the show, and three years on, fans are still keen to know what went on.
Discussing her stint on Celebrity Big Brother this week, her husband Michael Underwood said Angellica could finally break her silence in the house.
After a TikTok user asked him why she and Martin no longer worked together, he replied: "It's not for me to say, but she might talk about it on CBB."
A representative for Angellica is yet to respond to our request for comment.
According to Betway odds, the presenter is currently at 50/1 to win the show, while Jojo Siwa is the favourite at 9/4, followed by Danny Beard in second place at 5/2.
