Birmingham City co-owner Tom Brady has fired a dig at local rivals Aston Villa, with the club sharing a preview clip from a new Amazon Prime documentary. Brady purchased a minority stake in Blues back in August 2023, with the club branding his involvement a "statement of intent".
And the NFL icon's involvement with Birmingham has been chronicled in Amazon Prime documentary 'Built In Birmingham: Brady & The Blues', which premieres on the streaming service on August 1.
The club recently posted a clip from the documentary on social media, with the caption: "@TomBrady with lesson #1 to being a blue." In the clip, Brady says: "They love their soccer team, huh? What's the other team here?"
When informed that Villa are Birmingham's local rivals, Brady responds: "Is Aston Villa in the Premier League? Are they pretty good? F*** them. F*** them up too."
Birmingham are gearing up for their first season back in the Championship, having won League One with a record points total of 111, and the Blues are among the favourites to win a second consecutive promotion this season.

"Ultimately, getting promoted into the Premier League (is our ambition)," Birmingham chairman Tom Wagner told BBC Sport last month. "We'd like to do that as quickly as we can and then becoming highly competitive in the Prem.
"The reason we can do that, and I think this is something that is often lost on folks, if we were promoted next season, we'd immediately fall mid-table in total revenue because of the commercial partnerships that we've built up over the last two seasons.
"We will do total revenue this year that is very close to, if not, in line with the parachute payment clubs, as a Championship side not receiving any parachute payments. We'll be very active in the transfer market.
"We already have a sense as to who we'll be going after, we've got a really high-quality squad that we're assembling."
"And when asked if he believes they can achieve back-to-back promotions, Wagner added: "That's certainly the goal that we'll try to achieve. The goal has to be as good as we were last season."
