Celebrity Big Brother's first evictee took one last swipe at housemate Trisha Goddard with a surprise remark. The former Conservative MP clashed with the talk show icon on Friday night's episode

He was tasked with giving a speech to his fellow housemates as they had to charge up the Celebrity house battery with their star power. Michael decided to take on a political speech, as he slammed the HS2 rail project. The former MP veered off into talking about his own heritage, saying his surname is French and he has Jewish heritage. Trisha said his speech was coming across as Islamophobic, when Chesney Hawkes asked him to speak about immigration. Michael denied Trisha's claim and eventually stopped his speech.

Upon leaving the house, hosts and probed Michael on the moment as he claimed she has a game plan. In the surprising confession, he claimed: “Trisha has an agenda.

“I think Trisha understands how politics is a broad thing and you can be a left wing Conservative and a right wing Labour guy. They actually overlap. I think she was maybe was a little bit stereotyping.

"What didn't help was my friend Chesney said, 'Let's talk about immigration'. That was not my plan to do at all. I think only one person took it too seriously."

Michael was greeted by mixed reactions from the crowd upon his exit from the house. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan wrote: "Michael should still be in the house, Jack is booooring," while another penned: "Im sad for Michael. He was lovely and had a lot more to give. #cbb #cbbuk".

Speaking to Will and AJ, Michael said he was sad to leave having made great friendships during his short time in the house.

Michael had also clashed with Patsy Palmer during his Celebrity Big Brother stint. He was by Patsy during Thursday night's show as the actress asked: "Michael is there a reason that you wear that? That you wear a wig?"

Michael replied: "I just have always had long blonde hair so I just feel comfortable." Patsy continued to probe as she asked: "'Yeah, so not because you are bald or?..." He hit back: "No not particularly no, just because I'm... I don't particularly like talking about it but it's just how I want to be. It's part of me."

Despite him appearing uncomfortable about his locks, Patsy wanted to know how long his hair used to be and if it was blonde or ginger. The topic seemed to hit a nerve for Michael as he nominated Pasty for eviction because of her questioning.

In the Diary Room, he said: "I really have found it very hard but I'm going to nominate Patsy. She asked me something about 'Why do I wear a wig?' and you know, I'm not saying it is a wig, actually, but what I am saying is I found it slightly awkward being asked about it. I just don't like my hair being raised.

"People have, you know, sensitivities and that's my sensitivity. Look, we're all human. I'm more human than most." However, on Monday night as he entered the house Michael did reveal his hair is a wig for the first time.

Michael before they had even began. He previously denied his do is a hairpiece, but said it has been a little 'enhanced'.

Speaking in his VT before entering where he was met by boos, he issued a 10-word statement. He said: "I can show you the receipts, it cost a fortune." The remark seemed to confirm his hair is actually a wig that he purchased rather than grew himself.
