It seems it may not be all over for former couple 'Vanity', as Charity Dingle and Vanessa Woodfield could get closer according to one cast member.
The pair split a while ago on the show but it hasn't stopped fans hoping they may get back together. Charity is currently married to Mackenzie Boyd, while Vanessa was in a relationship with Suzy Merton until Suzy's death earlier this year.
Recent scenes and hints have left fans convinced Vanity may rise again. With the pair getting closer again, especially with Charity's granddaughter Sarah Sugden confiding in Vanessa, viewers have wondered if it's a sign the soap may go there with the characters again.
Now Mackenzie actor Lawrence Robb has had his say, admitting there's definitely concern for Mack that it could happen. The actor went on to tease that there's every chance a reunion will happen within the next two years, with a cryptic comment about there "being something".

Commenting on Charity and Vanessa's "great chemistry", Lawrence told The "never say never" where a reunion is concerned, before going on to suggest with both Charity and Vanessa and Charity and former flame Ross Barton, there's likely something that will be addressed.
He explained when asked if Mack should be worried about Vanessa being in the lives of Charity's family again: "I don’t think so, but like I’ve said before, never say never. Obviously they had great chemistry."
When asked about who Mack should be more worried about where Charity is concerned, Ross or Vanessa, he told us: "I’m going to remain ambiguous! For either character there’s definitely grounds to be concerned from Mack’s point of view.
"It will probably come to fruition over the next year or two. There’ll be something. There always is." It comes as Mack and Ross are set to team up in a surprise plot, after months of being against each other.
While it's all business based, Lawrence teased whether it could change the pair's dynamic. He said: "I think there’s quite a lot of drama to happen between these two characters. I don’t think they’ll ever see eye to eye, but they both have a common denominator in that they both want to save Moira’s farm so they both need to work together.
"Charity’s very much a problem between the two of them and will continue to be so." So perhaps Lawrence fears a Charity and Ross reunion, but it definitely feels as though he wasn't ruling out a Vanity comeback.
It comes as Mack faces big trouble as he's framed by killer John Sugden over an incident that endangers lives. It could lead to Mack, currently the only one onto villain John, halting his vendetta against the character.
Lawrence revealed: "I guess Mackenzie allows the wool to be pulled over his eyes a little bit. John is thrilled that it’s the downfall of Mackenzie and he’s framing it in a way that he’s helping Mackenzie, because that’s what John does. But obviously Mackenzie is not privy to any of that."
