Despite the show's main goal being to link up celebrities with their perfect match, Kerry admitted she initially went on the show for a "great pay cheque, bit of exposure and some therapy".
She confessed: "For me, you get experts like that to give you therapy, and I love therapy and working on myself...so when you get an opportunity like Celebs Go Dating to go and work with these people why would you not take it?"
As well as Kerry and Jon, The Chase'sMark Labbett is among the latest batch of famous faces to push themselves out of their comfort zone on the show.
They will receive the help of celebrity dating agents Anna Williamson, Paul C. Brunson and sexual communication specialist Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn.

Christine McGuinness well also set to be involved. She had headed off to Ibiza to join the rest of the cast following her split with Take Me Out host Paddy. However, halfway through filming, Christine opted to drop out of the show, deciding the process wasn't for her.
The mother of two said in her statement at the time: "I joined Celebs Go Dating with great intentions but have realised that dating on a public platform and the attention that brings is just too soon for me. They've said the door is always open for me which I'm so grateful but for now I'm returning home to my family."
And Dr Tara told the Mirror the she "respected" Christine's decision to remove herself from the process. She said: "As one of the dating experts on the show, I completely respect Christine’s decision to step away at this time.
"It takes real self awareness and strength to recognise your emotional boundaries, especially in such a unique and public setting. We support her wholeheartedly and wish her continued healing, happiness, and love on her terms.”
