Bayern Munich believe Florian Wirtz won't be joining them this summer and is instead on track for a sensational move to champions .
Germany international Wirtz were he to leave Bayer Leverkusen this summer, but Liverpool's interest has now turned his head.
report that Wirtz would now favour a switch to Anfield, but a deal is not a formality due to the vast transfer fee involved for one of football's premier young attacking playmakers.
Wirtz, 22, has paid a visit to the north west of England to look at potential houses to live in, and should he join Liverpool then he would again become a team-mate of his Leverkusen colleague Jeremie Frimpong, who is poised to complete his own transfer to the Reds in the coming days.

Wirtz has scored 16 goals and registered 15 assists for Leverkusen this season, while he chalked up 18 goals and 20 assists in 49 appearances in all competitions last season as Xabi Alonso's side won the Bundesliga title.
Alonso will become the new manager this summer following the departure of Carlo Ancelotti, while as well as Frimpong, key defender Jonathan Tah is expected to leave the club on a free transfer.
Earlier this month Wirtz told that he was "definitely keen" to move on from Leverkusen in the near future in order to "experience something new".
Any move from Wirtz would smash Liverpool's current transfer record, with the 29-times capped Germany international set to cost north of £100million.
Federico Chiesa is the only player signed under to have played for the Reds thus far, with the Italian international featuring just six times in the Premier League this season. Goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili will link up with the squad this summer having signed from Valencia last year.
The Reds have tied down captain Virgil van Dijk and top scorer to new two-year contracts after a season of uncertainty over their futures, but homegrown right-back will depart on a free transfer this summer and join ex-Reds midfielder Alonso at Real Madrid.
