has confirmed that one of its beloved chocolates will be making a return after being discontinued over 10 years ago. The major food corporation has confirmed that white chocolate Maltesers will be coming back this summer.
Thesnack is expected to hit the shelves of major supermarket chains and independent retailers on June 16, with shoppers able to choose from fun-sized and share bag sizes.
Prices for the products haven’t yet been revealed, but retailers are usually able to set their own. Currently, you can get a bag of normal 93g Maltesers for £2 in and £1.75 in Iceland.
Maltesers are balls of crunchy, light, and airy malt coated in milk chocolate. White Maltesers first came to the UK nearly 25 years ago back in 2003. Originally, they were a seasonal product but became so popular that they began being sold all year round.
Sadly, the white chocolate options was discontinued in the UK over a decade ago in 2014, reportedly due to low sales. However, fans have called for the snack to make a return ever since.
One fan on X - formerly - posted: "I beg @MaltesersUK bring white chocolate malteasers back, I crave them every week."

Another added: "Every now and then I remember that white chocolate Malteasers were discontinued and I feel furious."
A fourth even went as far as to say their "eyes fill with tears" when they think about the snack.
Another person posted: "Had a dream last night that white chocolate maltesers were back and I bought a whole crate of them."
A sixth said: "Whoever made the final decision to discontinue white chocolate maltesers is my eternal arch-nemesis."
Rumours that white chocolate Maltesers started earlier this month, however, the return has not been confirmed by Mars Wrigley.
A spokesperson from Mars Wrigley said: "We’re delighted to bring Maltesers White Chocolate back for the passionate fans who have been anticipating their return for years! Maltesers is all about encouraging people to look on the light side of life and so definitely try them if you’ve not done so before."
Fans are of course delighted to hew the news, expressing their joy on social media. One fan shared: "The best news this year!!!!" while another said: "Omg yessssss finally […] These were amazing why did they ever stop them?". A third said: "I'm so excitedddddd, these were the best things ever. I'm going to stock up cos I can't live without them again."
