A seething motherhas slammed her son's school after they 'refused' to let him eat a simple snack at break time - and has said she's pulling him out of schoolover it.
Rachael Elizabeth claimed her son's teacher didn't let him eat cheese on crackers for a snack and said teachers have "too much control" as they allow cheese in sandwiches, but not crackers.
The mum took to TikTokto share her anger at her son George's school, and said she acknowledges how important it is for healthy eating at school so would never send her son in with chocolate and made sure that his lunchbox is "relatively good" and well-balanced.
In the video, posted under the name @rachaelelizaabethh, she explained that she's "actually fuming" and, in her rage, removed her son from school for the day.

"School won't let him have crackers with cheese on for his snack. We've got a new head teacher, and she's brought in lots of new rules, which is absolutely fine. I mean, I'm with her on a lot of it when kids are coming in with packs of Lunchables and stuff like that. I get it. I wouldn't send George in with that."
She then said George is a fussy eater, so his snack was cheese and crackers - something he's had "forever". Rachael added: "Three crackers with a little bit of cheese on and butter, and they won't let him eat his snack because it's got cheese on. He's allowed to have cheese on his sandwich in the afternoon, but he can't have cheese on his cracker for his snack."
The mum then slammed the school and said: "Why do schools think they can just control everything? Why do they get so much control over that? I just think it's got out of control. Schools have gone crazy.
"I would like to know everyone's opinions on it, because I just think that schools have got too much control now," she concluded. In the clip, Rachael also shared what else was in George's lunchbox, showing a packet of salted crisps, a flapjack, cucumber, hummus, and a pot of natural Greek yogurt mixed with honey.

The clip has since gone viral with over 590,000 views, and many TikTokers sharing their thoughts in the comments. One person sided with Rachael and said: "Cheese is high in calcium and protein. Perhaps the teachers need lessons in nutrition before they stop kids eating nutritious food," while a second added: "Nothing wrong with that snack. I work in a school and you should see some of the snacks that children have. I, personally, would prefer him to eat rather than being hungry."
A third penned: "It’s your child you feed him what you want. These schools are getting away with way too much now. It’s ridiculous. Thank god mine are adults now."
However others agreed with the school and said: "Just follow the school rules why do some parents find it so hard and want to cause so much drama," and another noted: "A lot of schools only allow fruit at playtime I think saying you are going to home school him was an overreaction."
