Olly Murs shares adorable snaps to mark daughter Madison's first birthday - including incredible cake

Olly Murs has celebrated his first birthday and shared some adorable snaps of the big day.

On April 16, 2024 Olly and his wife Amelia announced they had welcomed their first child into the , naming her Madison. Olly and Amelia first shared that they were to be parents back in December 2023, just five months after the couple tied the knot on July 15, 2023.

They threw a fantastic festival-style wedding surrounded by their close friends and family on Osea Island off the coast of Maldon in . The day included a Ferris wheel, catering and a Craig David even made an appearance as Olly and Amelia and their guests partied until 2am. There were reportedly 60 people at the couple's wedding on Saturday before another 100 joined them for 'Murs Fest' in the evening.

Since Madison was born, Olly has shared a first hand look at life as a new dad, with plenty of emotional moments along the way, including the time he due to a prior work commitment. He was however able to embark on his first holiday with little Madison, which saw the star head off to Polzeath, near Padstow in Cornwall for a well earned break - and to sit down and introduce her to her first ever Euros football match on TV.

From tampers to teething, adorable giggles and cheeky grins, there’s been no shortage of memories for Olly and Amelia as they embarked on what he aptly described as his “dad era”. On January 1, 2025 Olly looked back on the last 12 months and reflected on becomming a dad, he shared: "2024 will forever be the year I became a dad to our Madison!! A job that I’m trying my best at, it’s hard at times but that smile, your laughs and especially them cheeky little dimples melt us everyday x x can’t wait for more of the same in 2025, Happy Everyone!"

Among the images shared by Olly on , was a scrub clad photo of the singer in which he was cradling his new daughter just moments after her birth while Amelia looked on happily. A second image then went on to reveal a petite hand pressed against his own palm, while a third revealed the singer kissing his little one’s head as they enjoyed some quality time together.

Yesterday Olly took to Instagram to share some adorable images and clips of Madison's first year, captioning the reel: "Can’t believe our Madi is 1 today. 12 months of the most adorable laughs x just love her so much x." With over 19,000 likes and over 400 comments Olly's followers were overjoyed at the beautiful bond the family of three share.

One pereson wrote: "Olly you are the best Daddy. Congratulations," while another penned: "Happy birthday to your beautiful daughter! She is very lucky to have a wonderful dad like you." Comedian John Bishop shared some love face emoji's and shared a heart emoji.

Amelia also took to her Instagram to mark the day with an image of the pair shortly after she gave birth captioned: "When you and your best friend make your own mini best friend. Can't believe this was a year ago, it's gone so quick but has been full of special moments and memories, so excited for the adventure of year two with our Madi Moos."

While Olly and Amelia have embraced parenthood Olly's close friend, radio host and former TOWIE star with his wife . Michelle Keegan seems to be loving her new life as a mum and marked her first Mother's Day in style as she joined her family for Sunday lunch at a gorgeous hotel with coastal views - and paid her new daughter the sweetest tribute.
