Manchester United legend has claimed the team should be "embarrassed" by their woeful record in the this season and said he understood why only wanted to join the club this summer.
The Red Devils are hinging their entire season on the final against next week but are currently 16th in the Premier League after a dismal season that has seen them lose 18 times after their 1-0 defeat to Chelsea.
When Amorim took over from in October, the team were just six points off the top four. They are now 27 points off the places after losing an alarming amount of games.
Amorim has made changes in recent games while attempting to juggle their progress to the European final in Bilbao, but Keane has still been left seething about United's performances - accusing them of "a lack of fight".
"Man Utd must be embarrassed by this," he told ahead of their trip to . "People talk about my time in the dressing room, but I was in other dressing rooms - at and Celtic.

"What you want from players is go to good habits. What I see is the lack of fight, the lack of competing. You can forgive teams for losing, but when the manager is coming up most weeks and is scratching his head. Amorim's head is spinning from being Man Utd manager.
"I get why he thought: I didn't want to get into that mess [until the summer]. He will be glad to see the back of this season. Some of the games, they have just written off. I've never heard so much chat from this club about next week's game.”
The Irishman added: "Don't think for one minute that this team is going to be top four or top five. They've lost 17 games this season, but they lost 14 last year. It's not just this season.
"This team just doesn't know how to compete. This is the bit I don't get. Turning up week in week out is the sign of greatness. And these players? Every week they don't know how to compete."
Before travelling to Stamford Bridge on Friday night, United had lost four of their last five Premier League matches. It led to Amorim slamming his side for not being "scared of losing a game" and even suggesting he might have to leave.
"We are losing the feeling that we are a massive club and it's the end of the to lose a game at home.
"If we are not scared of losing a game as and don't have that fear anymore, it is the most dangerous thing a big club can have."
