Ruben Amorim confirms what Man Utd fans already knew with starting XI vs Brentford

Ruben Amorim has rung the changes for Manchester United's Premier League fixture with Brentford with the second leg of their semi-final looming large on the horizon.

The Red Devils have one foot in the final after in midweek. And with United languishing in the bottom half of the table, Europe has become the priority for Amorim and his squad, who host Bilbao in the return leg on Thursday night.

Speaking last month, Amorim made it clear that the focus would be on Europe going forward and that some of the club's promising youngsters would be blooded in the league before the end of the season.

He explained: "It is one type of moment that can change a lot of things. These kind of moments can change a lot in the players' mind.

"We have to be really focused on the Europa League and we have to take a risk with the kids in the Premier League. We have to be tough on that and the fans have to understand our focus is on the Europa League."
