There will be rain at many places in Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Baghpat, Hapur, Muzaffarnagar, Amroha, Moradabad, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Sambhal, Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Agra, and Lalitpur today. Heavy rains cause havoc in Himachal.
Rains in Himachal for the last several days have caused havoc. Himachal Pradesh has suffered heavy losses due to cloudbursts, mountain collapses, and flash floods. 50 bighas of land and five bridges have been washed away due to a cloudburst in Mandi and Chamba districts again. Heavy rains are occurring in Chamba, Mandi, and Kangra districts amid a red alert in Himachal Pradesh. An orange alert has been issued for heavy rains in 10 districts of the state on Monday as well. Due to bad weather and landslides, 243 roads remained blocked in the state on Sunday as well. 244 electricity transformers and 278 water supply schemes were affected. However, flights from New Delhi to Shimla ran regularly.
Uttarakhand is in the grip of heavy rains.
Alaknanda has taken a fierce form in Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand. The idol of Lord Shiva installed on the riverbank has drowned. The Tanakpur-Tawaghat-Lipulekh road in Uttarakhand was closed due to heavy boulders and debris near Tawaghat. The Yamunotri highway has been closed for 10 days due to heavy rains. Traffic is also being disrupted repeatedly on the Badrinath highway. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rains in the next five days in five districts of the state, Uttarkashi, Tehri, Bageshwar, Dehradun, and Rudraprayag.
Flood alert in 13 districts of MP
The Meteorological Department has issued a flood alert in 13 districts of Madhya Pradesh. At the same time, an alert of very heavy rain has been issued in 5 districts. Heavy rains are occurring in many districts of the state. The Meteorological Department has issued a flash flood warning in Anuppur, Chhatarpur, Damoh, Dindori, Jabalpur, Katni, Mandla, Panna, Sagar, Seoni, Shahdol, and Umaria districts of Madhya Pradesh. A warning of very heavy rain has been issued in Jabalpur, Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat, and Damoh districts during the next 48 hours. Due to heavy rains, many rivers of Madhya Pradesh are in spate.
The 9 gates of Bargi Dam have been opened in Jabalpur. Regarding this, the district administration and Bargi Dam management have issued an alert in the lower areas of the Narmada River. The collector has declared a two-day holiday in all schools. 40% of the city got submerged after 4 inches of rain in Shahdol. Water has filled up to the platform at Shahdol railway station. The railway track has been completely submerged. Due to this, trains were delayed by 4 hours. Rivers and streams are in spate in Katni. Contact with Umaria has been lost.

7 July: Very heavy rain may occur in Sehore, Narmadapuram, Narsinghpur, Seoni, Mandla, and Balaghat. There is an alert of heavy rain in Dewas, Harda, Betul, Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Vidisha, Raisen, Sagar, Damoh, Jabalpur, Katni, Umaria, and Dindori. The rain will continue in the rest of the districts as well.
8 July: There is an alert of very heavy rain in Mandla, Seoni, and Balaghat. Heavy rains may occur in Ashoknagar, Vidisha, Sehore, Raisen, Narmadapuram, Betul, Pandhurna, Chhindwara, Narsinghpur, Sagar, Damoh, Jabalpur, Panna, Katni, Satna, Maihar, Umaria, Shahdol, Dindori, and Sidhi.
Heavy rain in Jammu and Kashmir
Due to heavy rains in Jammu and Kashmir, life has been disrupted in many districts. The water level of the Dharhali and Saktoh rivers has increased in Rajouri district. However, there is no news of loss of life or property from anywhere. The Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra was stopped due to the falling of stones from the hill on Himkoti road in Katra on Saturday night, which was resumed in the morning. However, due to fog, the helicopter service could be restored only partially.
Rain alert in 19 districts of Rajasthan

The Meteorological Department has also issued an immediate alert of moderate to heavy rain in Jaipur, Sikar, Churu, and surrounding areas.
