The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released its third list of candidates on Monday for the Maharashtra Assembly Elections, set to take place on November 20. The list includes 25 candidates nominated to contest seats across the state.

This announcement follows the release of BJP's second list, which included 22 names, while the party’s first list featured 99 candidates, showing a steady rollout of selections as the elections approach.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Ajit Pawar confirmed on Friday that Mahayuti alliance members are still discussing the distribution of 11 assembly seats out of the total 288 for the November elections. Pawar also shared that 10 percent of the seats allocated to his party would be reserved for minority candidates, aligning with the alliance's commitment to inclusivity.

The ruling Mahayuti alliance, comprising the BJP, NCP, and other partners, is set against the opposition coalition, Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA). The MVA includes the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray faction), NCP (Sharad Pawar faction), and Congress, each actively campaigning to secure a win in the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections.
