Bhubaneswar: In a major reshuffle among IPS officers, the Odish government has appointed Suresh Dev Datta Singh as the commissioner of police for twin cities Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.
A notification issued by the Home Department on Sunday, stated that Singh, Additional Director General of Police (Operations), will replace Sanjeeb Panda as police commissioner of twin cities.
Panda has been transferred and posted as Additional Director General of Police (ADG), Training, and Director, Biju Patnaik State Police Academy.
AK Ray, Director, Printing, Stationary and Publication, Odisha, Cuttack has been transferred and posted as director general of Prisons and Correctional Services. He will be replaced by SM Narvane, OSD, Home Department.
Vinaytosh Mishra, Director SCRB, has been posted as ADG, CID-CB. RP Koche, at present Additional DG of Police SAP, is the new Director, Intelligence.
Radha Kishan Sharma, Additional DGP (Headquarters.), is transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Home Department.
Saumyendra Kumar Priyadarsi, Director, Intelligence, has been posted as ADGP, Modernisation.
Dr Santosh Bala, at present Special Secretary, Home Department in the rank of Additional DGP in additional charge of CMD, OPHWC has been transferred and posted as Director, SCRB & SFSL.
