Devastated Jordyn Blum is reported to be finding solace in her circle of friends following the bombshell revelation by her husband, Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl, that he fathered a child with another woman.
The rock legend took to Instagram to drop the stunning news, expressing his desire to reconcile with his wife while committing to be an involved father to his newborn daughter. "I've recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage," Grohl confessed in his statement.
"I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness."
Sources close to Jordyn have revealed she has been receiving a wave of sympathy from her friends who are rallying behind her during this difficult time.
Yet, some insiders intimate to Jordyn suspect she "knew" about Dave's infidelity, although they doubt she grasped the full extent of his betrayal. A confidant speaking to The New York Post remarked: "She's a nice, wonderful woman."
These remarks follow suggestions from another informant that Grohl aimed to take responsibility for his actions by making the baby news public.
"He feared the mother or someone else would spill the news. It's his way to own up that he's made mistakes," an insider disclosed to In Touch Magazine.
Dave Grohl, the Foo Fighters frontman, has issued a plea for privacy after revealing he fathered a child with another woman. He stated: "We're grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together."
The musician and his wife Jordyn have been united in matrimony since 2003, having first crossed paths at the Sunset Marquis Whiskey Bar in West Hollywood, California. Together, they are parents to three daughters - Violet Maye, aged 18, Harper Willow, who is 15, and Ophelia Saint, their 10-year-old.
While the revelation of Dave's secret child sent shockwaves among his fanbase, insiders were reportedly less taken aback. A source disclosed to People Magazine: "We keep reading over and over again how heartbroken everyone is because Dave was supposed to be the 'good guy', the rockstar that didn't have to do those rockstar things. And people are crazy about the guy, but there is a rockstar side."
