Down Cemetery Road release date and cast for star-studded series from Slow Horses creators

Down Cemetary Road is coming to AppleTV+ and the series takes place following an explosion in a leafy Oxford suburb where Sarah Tucker lives.

In the aftermath, a young girl goes missing, and Sarah hires an investigator to get to the bottom of the mystery.

Down Cemetery Road was Mick Herron's debut novel, which was first published in 2003.

The book sees Sarah develop an obsession with finding the missing girl and she enlists the help of Oxford private investigator Zoë Boehm.

But their search digs up more secrets than answers as they are both caught in a web of conspiracy.

The series will have a double-bill premiere on Wednesday, October 29.

Episodes will debut weekly thereafter, leading up to the finale on December 10.

Ruth Wilson and Emma Thompson lead the cast as Sarah Tucker and investigator Zoë Boehm.

Wilson, 43, is an English actress known for her roles in Luther and Mrs Wilson.

Thompson, 66, is an English actress and screenwriter known for starring in huge blockbuster franchises like Harry Potter and Nanny McPhee.

From the executive producers of Slow Horses, the series teases a mix of humour and suspense as the pair delve deeper into the mystery.
