There was a time when was one of the most sought-after football players on the planet. The Belgian playmaker lit up English football during his seven-year stint at Chelsea, helping the club win six major trophies, including two titles.
His form earned him an £88million move to in 2019. The Spanish giants perceived a switch to the Bernabeu as a major coup, and the fee remains their record purchase. However, Hazard failed to deliver in Spain amid form and fitness struggles, and he would retire from football four years later, having managed just 76 games and 10 goals for the club.
Hazard, who also won 126 caps at international level, was only 32 at the time. Two years on, and fans have been left startled by new footage of the star playing football.
A video posted by @hashbash92 on TikTok showed a video of Hazard in a charity game. He looked anything like his former self, though, ambling slowly as he tried to dribble around a defender before losing his footing and hitting the deck.

He did seem to see the funny side, smiling before getting back to his feet and checking his studs. The footage made its way to X, with @brianmichaelf joking "Can't tell if that's Eden or me there," while @Skopie official added: "I once rated this guy ahead of Neymar and Salah, damn man I was so so wrong. Sad to see him this way."
Hazard managed just 10 appearances in his final season before leaving Madrid, with @RazorShark78781 posting: "He's played more games since leaving Madrid in these charity games." @vini_siuus was scathing, writing: "He would not even start for a Sunday League match."
However, the former FWA Footballer of the Year and PFA Players' Player of the Year did have some fans fighting his corner. @LeeHubbz argued: " A player, who's won more than 99% of others, retired and still enjoying a kick-around in a charity match.
"What, did you expect... him to be rigorously training and hitting the gym to take part in an exhibition match once or twice a year?"
