Brits go abroad in their millions over the summer months, with many of them opting for destinations in Spain, Italy and Portugal. For many, this stunning seaside city is the best place to go with stunning views, cheap drinks and plenty to do if you are looking for fun in the sun.

When it comes to a sun holiday, Brits look for things like value for money, scenery and stunning beaches. Many have praised Lagos, which is located in the Algarve region of Portugal, as one of the best places in Europe to go for a seaside getaway. Lagos is located on the southern coast of the country and boasts some highly rated beaches. This city is relatively small, home to more than 30,000, but it swells in the summer as huge numbers of tourists arrive.
