A GB News presenter declared that it had been "the most satisfying day of her career" as she delivered blow after blow to Sir Keir Starmer. Reporter Beverley Turner touched on the moment that she left the UK's Prime Minister squirming as she happily reflected on how she had questioned him earlier about mass immigration.
It comes as US President Donald Trump held a press conference with the Prime Minister in Scotland as part of a four-day visit to the UK earlier this week. The floor was opened up to the press as the GB News star took the opportunity to ask Starmer if he was "envious" of Trump's record on tackling illegal immigration, as he makes it "look easy". The stuttering politician replied that illegal immigration is a "huge issue" in both countries. "It is a real cause for concern and that is why we must bear down on it," he said.

Reflecting on the moment, Bev told her co-star Patrick Christys that they tackled the "topics that we talk about every day". She added: "This is what matters to people. We are the fearless champion of Britain, are we not?
"So, it was easy. It was like shooting fish in a barrel, frankly. The issues that Donald Trump has done so well on just happen to be the issues that Keir Starmer is resolutely failing on. So you get those two men in the room and all you have to do is bring up the issues."
The journalist went on to say that she "felt a bit sorry for Keir Starmer" as she "didn't know it was going to be so hard for him. "I genuinely didn't know those questions would be so difficult," Bev laughed.

Despite putting the Prime Minister in an awkward position, she admitted that watching him struggle to answer was "so satisfying" from a personal standpoint.
She added: "To be in that environment, I was like a coiled spring because I know what matters, I know what our viewers and our listeners care about. So I just kept batting them at them. It was joyous, it was great. It was genuinely the most satisfying day of my career."
In another interview, Bev noted: "No 10 Downing Street have not put anything on their social media from yesterday. Now if that doesn't tell you everything about how they deem that to have been a success or a failure, I don't know what does."
