ITV The Voice UK final: What do the winners get and has anyone made it big

is wrapping up yet another glorious series this weekend, with one person being named as the winner for 2024. The popular programme returned in August following a major shake up.

Will.i.am and have been joined by fresh faces on the coaching panel. International hitmaker LeAnn Rimes and were named as the new celebrities to mentor the contestants.

Together, the judges scouted ten contestants in a bid to be crowned the winner. The final will see Deb Orah, Storry, Ava and Billy & Louie fight it out to be crowned the champion and get their hands on the ultimate prize.

Whoever wins will be joining the succession line of previous series, alongside past winners including Leanne Mitchell, Kevin Simm and Molly Hocking.

While she didn't win, The Voice's biggest success story is arguably . In 2014, she became the first (and only thus far) contestant from the show to bag a UK number one single with Gecko (Overdrive) with Oliver Heldens.

What does the winner of The Voice UK get?

The winner of The Voice UK gets a record deal with Universal's UMOD alongside a chance to release their debut single. Previously, winners of the singing content would win a cash prize of £100,000. However, the cash prize was scrapped after the show moved from to ITV in 2017.

2023 - Jen & Liv

Just weeks after they became the latest champions of The Voice UK, Newcastle buskers Jen and Liv, have revealed a big change to the name of their act. They shared that they'll be known as Hunni going forward, having teased 'the next chapter' in the days leading up to the announcement.

2022 - Anthonia Edwards

It was Anthonia Edwards who won the eleventh series of the show but this took viewers by surprise after she messed up her lines during the final performance.

The English-born singer was a nurse from Blackheath. She signed a prestigious recording contract with the major record label EMI and released her debut single Anyone, which was a reimagined version of the hit single by Justin Bieber.

2021 - Craig Eddie

Scottish singer Craig Eddie was crowned the show's winner three years ago and in 2022 he released a new single called Elastic Heart after cutting ties with his record label.

2020 - Blessing Chitapa

Blessing Chitapa was crowned the 2020 winner at just 18 years old. This was part of the show's first-ever virtual audience vote due to the pandemic restrictions. However, the Zimbabwe-born singer who was coached by Olly Murs also parted ways with Island Records in 2021.

2019 - Molly Hocking

Molly Hocking built up a loyal fan base during her time on the show and amassed a large social media following. She has continued to write songs and perform online since winning The Voice.

2018 - Ruti Olajugbagbe

Ruti Olajugbagbe was also quickly dropped by Polydor Records and returned to her former life. The youngster decided to head back to college and complete her education. Since the show reports suggest she has remained out of the limelight keeping a low profile.

2017 - Mo Jamil

Mo's album Evolve peaked at number 36 when it was released but was dropped by Polydor Records shortly afterwards.

2016 - Kevin Simm

While former Liberty X singer Kevin Simm won the show in 2016, he reportedly complained about his treatment during his time on The Voice. In 2018, it was announced Kevin would join pop band Wet Wet Wet as the new lead singer, replacing Marti Pellow.

2015 - Stevie McCrorie

Stevie bagged himself a chart single that managed to get to number six. Lost Stars pushed him in the right direction leading him to perform for thousands at various gigs. However, it was short-lived, and he returned to his former job as a firefighter less than a year after winning The Voice.

2014 - Jermain Jackman

Jermain was Will.i.am's first act to win the series. However, he claimed he was quitting the music business in 2014 to continue his studies in politics. In recent years, Jermaine, 27, has spoken of his desire to become Prime Minister, saying "anything is possible".

2013 - Andrea Begley

Belfast born star Andrea has gone on to be a successful singer-songwriter in Ireland. She lost her vision after suffering glaucoma as a child and said she hoped that her victory would inspire other partially sighted.

In 2019, she released her second album, Soul of a Songbird. She has gone on tour with her aunt, Philomena Begley, who is an Irish country singer.

2012 - Leanne Mitchell

Leanne was the very first winner of the ITV show. Her debut single, a cover of Whitney Houston's "Run to You", reached number 45 in the charts. However, her self-titled album was not as successful, peaking at number 134 in the charts.
