
Cameron Norrie has called out by John McEnroe for saying 'vamos' despite not being Spanish. The Brit celebrated many of his points against Carlos Alcaraz with the phrase which translates to 'let's go' as the pair did battle in the Wimbledon quarter-finals on Tuesday.
And McEnroe said on the BBC: "Was that Norrie saying vamos? It's weird for a guy who was born in South Africa, grew up in NZ and is a Brit, that he's saying vamos."
