M25 traffic: Long queues as police close major UK motorway in both directions

The M25 was closed in both directions between J5 and J6 due to a police incident. Drivers were diverted around the closure and warned to expect delays.

Surrey Police were called to a concern for welfare incident between Godstone and Sevenoaks at around 5.30pm. It has been confirmed that a woman, aged in her 40s, was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
