Manchester crash LIVE: Travel chaos erupts as trains cancelled after bus hits bridge

Services to and from Manchester Victoria are facing severe disruption after a bus crashed into a bridge during the morning of July 22. The collision happened in Ten Acres Lane, in Newton Heath, with pictures from the scene seemingly showing a Metroline Manchester driver training bus wedged underneath the bridge.

National Rail says passengers are likely to face disruption until at least late morning.
