Tennis stars flocked to Queen's this week not only to get themselves up to speed for Wimbledon, but also to fight for a healthy prize pot on London's grass courts. The winner's reward has been given a hefty boost since Tommy Paul lifted the title last year, when he beat Lorenzo Musetti in the final.
Paul's HSBC Championship defence was over before it even started this time around, as he was forced to pull out of the tournament due to an abdominal injury. But tennis fans were still treated to the likes of Carlos Alcaraz and Jack Draper strutting their stuff the week after Tatjana Maria romped to a surprise victory in the women's event.
Queen's prize money breakdownAmerican star Paul picked up a cool £336,000 for winning at Queen's in 2024, and this year's winner is in line for an even bigger payday. With the overall prize pot bumped up to just under £2.2million, the player who comes out on top is set to receive £403k.
There is a big drop down to the runner-up, but their spirits should be lifted once they receive a cheque for just under £217k. The two losing semi-finalists will also be compensated handsomely, taking home around £116k each.

Losing quarter-finalists stand to bank £59k, with those who crashed out in the round of 16 earning nearly £32k. Simply making it to the start of the main draw comes with a solid reward as first-round losers are paid around £17k.
Doubles competitors are also fighting for big prize pots, although they are significantly smaller than the singles figures. Just over £132k will be paid to the winning team - a sum which, naturally, will have to be split in two. Around £71k will be split between the losing finalists, and £36k between each set of losing semi-finalists.
How to watch Queen's finalUK viewers can tune into the Queen's final for free this afternoon, as long as they hold a valid TV license. The showdown is being broadcast on BBC Two. Tennis fans can also view the action on BBC iPlayer.
The venue's Andy Murray Arena will host around 9,000 fans to watch the match in the flesh, having significantly increased the stadium's capacity in 2016.
