Six Liverpool stars Jurgen Klopp could pinch after landing first job since Anfield exit

Caoimhin Kelleher

Klopp was unable to give the Irishman regular Premier League minutes between the sticks, but he made it clear on numerous occasions how highly he rates him and, according to Kelleher, pledged to 'follow his career wherever he goes'.

Due to turn 26 next month, the goalkeeper is still on the fringes at Anfield and a hypothetical move to RB Leipzig, where current stopper Peter Gulacsi is not getting any younger, would guarantee Champions League football.

Jarell Quansah

The 21-year-old has not played a single Premier League minute since being substituted at half-time on the opening weekend of the season by Arne Slot. As a young centre-back with big potential, Quansah is exactly the calibre of player the Red Bull Group generally look to buy, improve, and sell for a hefty profit.

Joe Gomez

The versatile defender played more than 200 games under Klopp but opportunities have been limited this season behind a solid starting back-four. Now 27 years old, Gomez could be tempted by a route to more frequent minutes away from Merseyside, and not many people know him better than Klopp.

Conor Bradley

Like Quansah, Bradley is a youngster with massive potential and obstacles on his path to the starting line-up. For all his talent, the 21-year-old will not be ousting Trent Alexander-Arnold from the XI unless his fellow right-back signs for Real Madrid at the end of the season. Klopp may consider pointing him towards Leipzig for the next step in his career.

Wataru Endo

Two brief substitute cameos is all Endo has managed in the Premier League this term, with Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch laying claim to the two deep-lying midfield spots.

An experienced campaigner and well-known in the Bundesliga, Klopp could try and lure the 31-year-old back to Germany or offer him a fresh start in New York as he heads towards the latter stages of his career.

Tyler Morton

Now a fully-fledged member of the Liverpool first-team after fruitful spells with Blackburn Rovers and Hull City, Morton is finding minutes hard to come by. Due to turn 22 before the end of the month, the midfielder may be tempted to follow in the footsteps of fellow Reds academy products Bobby Clark and Stefan Bajcetic by joining up with Pep Lijnders in Salzburg.
