Mumbai: The youngster who performed a dangerous stunt on a suburban local train at Sewri station in Mumbai has been traced by the Railway Protection Force. Upon tracing him, the railway authorities discovered that he had lost an arm and a leg due to the incident.Central Railway posted a video on social media platform X, which shows the youngster sharing his tragedy with the authorities. Central Railway wrote on X while sharing the video, "Central Railway has identified the stunt performer from this viral video, who later lost an arm and leg during another stunt. @RPFCRBB swiftly took action to ensure safety. We urge all passengers to avoid life-threatening stunts and report such incidents at 9004410735 / 139. Safety first!"

The youngster, identified as Farhat Azam Sheikh, said in the video shared by Central Railway that his video performing the stunt went viral on X in July and was shot in March. Following the incident, he lost his arm and leg.After the July 14 video, Central Railway issued a stern warning against performing dangerous stunts. Later, a case was registered by the Wadala unit of the RPF, which successfully tracked the youngster to his home in Antop Hill in central Mumbai a few days later, according to a PTI report.Emphasizing the dangers of such illegal acts, Central Railway informed that Farhat now faces difficulty in performing daily chores. The authorities added that Sheikh has appealed to everyone to avoid such acts, which are illegal and life-threatening. Central Railway requests passengers to refrain from performing stunts that are life-threatening to both the individuals involved and other passengers.
