Hyderabad: The city has been witnessing intense spells of rainfall since yesterday, leading to waterlogging and traffic congestion. Traffic movement was slow, and commuters faced difficulties as floodwaters rapidly rose when the rains began on Friday afternoon. Parts of the city including Kompally, Nizampet, Kukatpally, Ameerpet, Moosapet, Cyber Towers, Miyapur, Khajaguda, Hitech City, Kondapur, Gachibowli, Banjara Hills, Golconda, Suchitra, Jeedimetla, Patancheruvu, Bachupally, Alwal and Quthbullapur received intense showers, as per the Siasit Daily. However, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a generally cloudy sky with light rain or drizzle on Saturday. Today, the maximum temperature is expected to be 31 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature is expected to be 23 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity fluctuated between 77 percent and 88 percent.

The maximum temperature is expected to range between 32 degrees Celsius and 33 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is expected to be 23 degrees Celsius. IMD AlertsAs per the latest data from the weather forecasting department, a yellow alert has been issued in Hyderabad for thunderstorms and lightning.
