As India resumed their first innings on Day 2, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Shubman Gill waited from the dressing room and were spotted in a playful mode as the Indian lower order attempted to ensure that the hosts put up a big score on the board following an incredible 199-run partnership between Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja.For those unversed, Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bat on the first of play on Thursday (September 19). Rohit (6), Gill (0), and Kohli (0) were dismissed for single digit scores by Bangladesh pacer Hasan Mahmud in the first hour of play. While Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a half-century and Rishabh Pant made a quick-fire cameo of 39 runs, the hosts found themsevles in big trouble at 144-6. However, Ashwin made his 6th Test century with a knock of 113 while Ravindra Jadeja made 86 runs to help India cross the 350-run mark and put up a big score of 376 on the board.
